Recording Video of Test Executions

Functionize offers you the ability to record video of your test executions which can be helpful when debugging test cases.

This option must be enabled on a per test basis in the Test Settings. Once enabled, on-demand executions of the test on any enabled browser will record video for visual debugging efforts.

Video Playback

Once you have enabled video recording on the test, run an execution from one of your enabled browsers.

The Video Playback button will not appear until the first test execution after enabling video and there is video to play. On completion, return to the Test Detail page where you should now see the Playback button. The button will also remain visible once an execution video has been recorded even if video recording is subsequently disabled for the test.

NOTE: The playback button will not be visible on browser results tabs where the test has not yet been executed after enabling video.

Browser Results tab

  1. Open the Browser Results tab for the browser in which you ran the test.
  2. Click the Video Playback button.
