What is ACS?
- Advanced Connection Security (ACS) is a secure way of communicating between Functionize - the infrastructure which is running your automated tests, and your environment
How ACS Works
- ACS uses an industry leading secure connection provider (Tailscale) to establish a zero trust secure connection
- ACS specifically allows for the establishing of a wireguard protocol based VPN tunnel, which secures all communications necessary to facilitate test execution for systems under test internal to the customer environment.
Who Needs To Facilitate ACS Install
-
End Users
- To set up tests and fill out necessary test settings, after onboarding
-
Security Administrators
- To allow the setup of the necessary ACS client (security review)
-
System Administrators (IT Operations)
- To fill out the ACS Systems questionnaire
- To setup the necessary ACS client (facilitated through an onboarding meeting with Functionize DevOps)
