Scroll Action Overview

A Scroll Action can be performed if the website under test has a dynamic loading page, for example, if the site utilizes lazy loading.

Create a Scroll Action in Architect

1. Launch Architect and begin recording your test.
2. Click the Add (+) icon button to open the Actions panel
   
3. Click Scroll
   
   
4. Scroll to the desired location on the site
5. Click Close
   
6. Your test now includes a Scroll Action
   
7. Click the white circle to the left of the Scroll Action to edit the Action

Insert a Scroll Action in an Existing Test Case

Scroll Actions can be inserted via the Test Detail page and Slider view.

Test Detail Page

1. Open your Test
2. Hover where you would like to insert the Action
   
3. Open the Insert menu and select Scroll
   
4. Set the X and Y Coordinates for the Scroll Action
   
5. Click Insert

Slider View

1. Open your Test
2. Open Slider view via the View Results button or the View button next to any Action
3. Click the Quick Add button at the step where you would like to insert the action.
   
4. Open the Insert menu and select Scroll
   
   
5. Set the X and Y Coordinates for the Scroll Action
   
6. Click Insert
