The Functionize Email Reader tool lets you create and read temporary @functionizeapp.com email addresses directly within Architect. This is especially useful for workflows requiring email-based interactions, such as account activations, password resets, or 2FA verification.
Accessing the Email Reader
From the main Architect screen, click the plus (+) icon and select Email Reader under the Tools section. You can either select to open the email reader tool in the same tab or a new tab.
- A randomly generated
@functionizeapp.comaddress will appear in the Output Example box. - Copy this email address to your clipboard.
Using the Email Reader
- An inbox will open for the generated
@functionizeapp.comaddress. - You can view and interact with emails sent to that address, such as:
- Account activation links
- Password reset messages
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) codes
