The Slider View provides an interactive, step-by-step look at your test execution results. It captures high-definition screenshots before, during, and after every action, along with network and console logs, attribute data, and cookie details.
With Slider View, you can:
- Visually analyze what passed or failed.
- Compare the latest run against the original Architect recording or the last successful execution.
- Troubleshoot failures with network, console, and attribute data.
- Add, edit, or delete actions directly.
Accessing Slider View
You can open Slider View in two ways:
- From the Browser Results tab of any completed execution, click View Results.
- Or, click the View button next to any action.
Tour of the Slider View
Header Panel
- Test Name – Displays the name of the test.
- Browser Tabs – Switches between execution results for available browsers.
- Screenshot Comparison –
- Compare screenshots from:
- Cur: Current execution
- Prev: Previous successful run
- Arc: Original Architect recording
- View screenshots side-by-side for easy comparison.
- Select intervals: Pre-Action, Mid-Action, Post-Action.
- Expand for a full-screen view.

- Diagnostics – Run Diagnose on a failed test.
- Quick Select – Replace the current element with a new element.
- Quick Add – Insert new actions.
- Local Edit – Launch Architect to replace or add actions.
- Live Debug – Launch Live Debug from the beginning of the test.
- URL – Copy the URL from the test action in view.
Action Steps Panel
- View test steps in sequence.
- Select a step to view screenshots and execution data.
- Expand to see settings, flags, and advanced options.
- Use the Action Menu to:
- Train the AI
- Fail Step
- Delete action
- Open Action Settings (gear icon)
Footer Panel
- Data – Compare recorded attributes across Current, Previous, and Architect.
- Network – Display logs when enabled at Test or Project level.
- Console – Display logs when enabled at Test or Project level.
- Extension – Display extension responses from the test execution.
- Components Model – Display results of the component model.
- Variables – Display the project or local variables set or used during the test execution.
Note: This panel can be expanded or collapsed to adjust your workspace.
Navigation
- Use Left/Right arrows to step through actions one by one.
- Drag the vertical Slider bar to visually compare differences between screenshots.
Working with Actions in Slider View
Adding an Action
- Open Slider View for a test.
- Click Quick Add at the desired step.
- Select the action type from the Insert menu.
- Element-based actions: Select the element in the screenshot.
- Non-element actions: Enter details directly.
- Complete the modal fields.
- Click Insert.
Note: New actions won’t display screenshots or attribute data until the next execution.
Adding Instructions
Instructions help organize actions into logical groups.
- Open Slider View.
- Click Quick Add at the desired step.
- From the Insert menu, select New Instruction.
- Name the instruction and click Save.
- Instructions update action numbering automatically.
Deleting an Action
- Open Slider View for the test.
- Select the action to delete from the left panel.
- Open the Action Menu (icon on the step) or Action Settings (gear).
- Click Delete and confirm in the pop-up.
