Functionize Certification Program Overview

The Functionize Certification Program is an online training program to empower testers/QA managers to embrace changes in the QA industry. The training program highlights the following topics:

  • AI-first testing methodologies
  • The concept of Test Debt and how to reduce it
  • Using modern testing platforms like Functionize for AI-powered automation
  • Self-paced program with a certificate upon completion

How to Start the Functionize Certification Course

  1. Go to the Functionize website (https://www.functionize.com/) and under the Resources menu, click on the Certification sub-menu


  2. Click on Start Course

Create an Account

Users can register for each program here, the same login will work for all courses.

  1. Enter your E-mail and click on Continue


  2. Create an Account by filling in the credentials


  3. It will take you to the Course Overview page

Take the course

Level 1:

In this course, you will learn how AI empowers teams to release faster, with higher quality and lower cost so that they can gain a competitive edge in digital transformation.

 

  1. Click on Start Course


  2. As you complete the course modules, you will see a green checkmark on each section


  3. Click on the numbered pages at the bottom to view each page


  4. As you progress through the course
    • If you get a question wrong, click on Try Again button to retry that question


    • If you answered correctly, click on Next button
  1. Once you’ve finished the course, the results will appear
    • If you passed the quiz question, then click on Finish Course


    • If you didn’t pass the quiz question, then click on Retry

Level 2:

In this course, you will learn more about modules like- Page Objects, Variables, Test Data Management (TDM) - Data Driven Testing, Orchestrations, Functionize Tools, Loops and Conditionals, Test Versioning, and Extensions.

  1. Go to the Certification home page by clicking on the button on the top left of the page


  2. Unlock the course by opening this link: https://certification.functionize.com/unlock/XOlEujm

  3. Click on Start Course


  4. Start going through the course by completing all the sections and all of the modules

  5. As you complete the course modules, you will see a green checkmark on each section


  6. To increase the font size of the text, simply click the button on the top right of the page


  7. If you knowingly click on the wrong answer, click on the Reset button


  8. To watch a video-click on the Play button


  9. As you progress through the course
    • If you get a question wrong, click on the Try Again button to retry that question

    • If you answered correctly, then click on the Next button


  10. Once you’ve finished the course, the results will appear
    • If you passed the quiz question, click Finish Course


    • If you didn’t pass the quiz question, click Retry

  11. To print the results, click on the Print button on the top right of the page and the browser will open a printing confirmation window


  12. To E-mail your results, click on the Letter icon button on the top right of the page and fill in your email address

Level 3:

In this course, you will learn more about the different modules, for example: Integrations, Command Line Interface (CLI), Customizing Test Cases with Javascript, Decision Actions, Testing Non-public Applications, Connectivity Configuration, Whitelist Proxy Data Flow, WebSockets Tunnel Data Flow, Proxy Settings, API Explorer and DB Explorer.

  1. Go to the Certification home page by clicking on the button on the top left of the page


  2. Unlock the course by opening this link: https://certification.functionize.com/unlock/re9jVtv

  3. Click on Start Course


  4. Start going through the course by completing all the sections and all of the modules

  5. As you complete the course modules, you will see a green checkmark on each section


  6. To increase the font size of the text, click the button on the top right of the page

Your Courses

This page is used for viewing all of your ongoing courses and certificates. You can Search, Ask for Help, See notifications, View Certificates, Star Courses, and Edit/Update your profile.

  1. Firstly, log in with your saved credentials


  2. The homepage will open where you can see all of your courses that are Done, In Progress, and Completed

  3. Just click on any of the 3 buttons of the same name and courses will be sorted accordingly


  4. You can also search any course by typing in the Search bar


  5. You can start your courses and they will appear at the top of the page


  6. You can also sort your courses by A-Z, Sort by date, etc.


  7. Once you have completed a course you can see the certificate of that course by clicking on this icon


  8. You can see your notifications by clicking on the icon


  9. Click on the Profile icon to see what is new, privacy policy help, sign out, and edit your profile

  10. You can also edit and update your profile details
